About Owl Be There of the Washington Metropolitan Area

Ashley’s focus is supporting new Owl Be There franchise owners. She provides marketing execution and campaign strategy, as well as creating tools and systems that help franchisees market more efficiently and creatively.

Ashley is also instrumental in helping Owl Be There’s Franchise Development team find great candidates.

With more than a decade of experience in healthcare marketing, Ashley brings strong expertise to the senior placement industry. A Buffalo, New York native, Ashley received her Sociology degree from Buffalo State College. She now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and three young sons.

Laura divides her time between Owl Be There client engagement and leading the franchising arm of Owl Be There.

Her background includes brand management, consumer advertising, corporate strategy, and financial analysis. She is passionate about marketing, operations, and business growth strategy.

Laura has an MA in English, an MBA from The College of William & Mary, and is a Certified Franchise Executive.

Nadia is passionate about helping seniors make good decisions about their care. She has more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare community, spanning assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care and home care. Nadia is a proud veteran who served in the United States Army for four years. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Nadia is fluent in Japanese, having spent many summers during her childhood in Tokyo with her grandparents. These days, she resides in Montgomery County, MD and loves spending time with her fiancé Tony and daughter Eniko. Nadia’s motto: “Life is short, so you must cherish every moment. You never know when the best day of your life may be!”

Marilyn has a long history of leadership and compassion, having been a dedicated nonprofit Executive Director. She brings vision and passion to her role as an Owl Be There Senior Living Advisor and is deeply committed to improving the lives of seniors and families with whom she interacts and advises.

Marilyn cherishes time with family and finds joy and fulfillment in moments shared with her two children and two grandchildren.

Joe has over 20 years of experience in the senior market, advising on long term care insurance as well as actually working in a nursing home. As a result, Joe is knowledgeable about care payment options for seniors as well as available levels of care. Joe understands firsthand the concerns and frustrations of today’s seniors, having had parents who required assistance with their own living situation.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys bicycling and spending time with his wife and two children. Joe is also a published poet and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University.

Theresa has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare and hospitality industry with a special interest in senior living. Having worked at several assisted living communities in the Washington area, she is familiar with the amenities and services available to seniors.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Healthcare from Radford University. Theresa believes that continuity of care and warmth of environment are an important combination when finding the perfect retirement community for your loved ones.
